Our Mission is to work together with participants and their families to assist to gain all the tools they need to help them thrive and to ensure that their NDIS plans are manageable for their individual needs.

We will use a collaborative friendly and very strong approach to build each family’s capacity to navigate the NDIS system, assist them to engage with positive, impactful, formal and informal supports and build meaningful relationships to the community and each other.

3.3 BUSINESS FOCUS

3.3.1 Commitment to Quality

Lotus Services is committed to providing high-quality services to its participants in a supportive environment. This commitment is in line with National Disability Insurance Service requirements.

Lotus Services will use information from the management of continuous improvement, complaints and feedback, incidents, work health and safety, information feedback and risk management to adjust our policies and practices so that we meet participant and community requirements.

Lotus Services will seek feedback from participants and the community to ensure that we are meeting their requirements and to provide high quality, responsive service. Information and feedback gained through surveys and consultation with community and stakeholders will be collated and forwarded to management to review and make recommendations about any adjustments to policies and practices as required. Managerial meetings will document discussions and outcomes, and this data will be fed back into our continuous improvement cycle.

3.3.2 Target group

There are two (2) target groups within the community in which we work:

1. Participants: Individuals with special needs who require support.

2. Service providers: Disability services organisations who seek support for their participants.

Sandie Subloo – Director, Bachelor of Commerce, Associate CPA, Qualified JP, with extensive experience in a range of accounting, taxation, management, payroll, and business management.

Jarrett Subloo – Managing Officer, Diploma of Business, National Sports Trainer Accredited, Certificate 3 in Fitness (Gym Instructor), RSA Certificate Australia, White Card, Working with Children’s Check, Contracted as a NSW Cup Player with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Worked as a Disability Support Person over the past 4 years in various schools in the ACT and for Disability Support Groups in NSW.

From time to time, we will also engage specialist consultants and contractors to support business functions and assist with a range of participant support services. Knowledge, skills and experiences of all partners and key personnel, who influence the company, are reviewed to ascertain if additional training is required to address any identified gaps.

Current position

Lotus Services is a start-up company regarding the NDIS Sector. It is a small family run business. Although we are only commencing this business, we have been involved in the disability community and accustomed to the needs of disabilities throughout our entire lives. Throughout our time, we have developed into a community of people with disabilities, their families, networks and support workers who are genuinely interested in one another and are working together to achieve the best outcomes for people with disabilities to live their best lives. We specifically chose our name “Lotus Services” because we wanted to show and resemble the strength and resilience of ourselves, our soon to be employees and especially our participants.

Growth plan

We envisage an organisation which provides excellent support to our community of participants, support workers and all those we interact with, our dedication and values being the foundation for everything we do. We do not only want to support our participants, but we want them to feel alive, strong, and resilient in anything they put their minds to. Lotus Services want our participants to know that regardless of their disability, we will be there with them all the way.

We will make them feel alive again. Of course, we will commence as only two of us in the organisation, but our plan for the next 12 months is to grow our workforce base in meeting our needs of our planned increase in participants. We want to listen to our people, work together to create a support network to assist each and everyone in achieving goals and living the life everyone should be living.

History

One of our facilities that we will be providing is Plan Management Sandie Subloo has a Bachelor of Commerce, Associate CPA, Qualified JP, Qualified accountant with extensive experience in a range of accounting, taxation, management, business management and payroll. Sandie will be facilitating the plan management aspect of the business as well as the general running of the other facilities.

Personal Assist Activities, Daily Task, Development Life Skills, Ex Physical/ Personal Training will be further facilities within our company. Jarrett Subloo has a Diploma of Business, National Sports Trainer Accredited, Certificate 1 in Construction, Certificate 3 in Fitness ( Gym Instructor), RSA Certificate Australia, White Card, Working with Children’s Check ,and is currently a contracted NSW Cup Player with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Jarrett has Worked extensively as a Disability Support Person over the past 4 years in various schools in the ACT and for Disability Support Groups in NSW.
